Who Says 15lbs Isn't a Lot?
So yesterday I was visiting my boyfriend and he 2 month old granddaughter was there. She weighs a whopping 15.4lbs! This is one super baby. I was walking around with her and I could barely carry her. I know I'm not in that great of shape but this kid was big. Made me realize that 15lbs is a big deal. I remember when I had "only" lost 15lbs and felt like that wasn't much. I will never look at 15lbs the same again.

it really is something how we carried that additional weight with us all the time....I watch my niece 1 day a week...she is 8 months and about 16lbs. doesn't seem like much unless I am carrying her around or lifting her off the floor. I think about it when I pick up a 50lb bag of dog food too, and can barely get it in/out of the cart. I don;t look at things the same way anymore either.

After 5 kids and 4 grandkids I am through with the baby bug but she is so squeezeable. This sounds bad but I love fat babies and fat dogs. You should see my Chihuahua Princess. She has practically doubled in size since she was fixed.

Wow! Thanks for sticking it right to me LadyTazz! I'm up almost 15 pounds from where I want to be lately and now I'm going to feel like I'm packing a whole kid worth of extra weight around today - LOL!
(doc says my thyroid blew up and I am as of last Friday now on meds so hopefully it goes back away soon)
Seriously, though. Thanks very much for this. It does help a lot to keep in mind how much 15lbs really is so I can keep it from turning into 50 (or more).
oh, and hope your week is going better than the one you had last week!
(((hugs)))
