Addicted...Yummy protien!
OK...so I'm watching TV and that Dunkin Donuts commercial comes on for Iced Hot Chocolate...DROOL!
So I figured I would try to make one...a bit healthier...and boy did I succeed!
4 oz Skim Milk
1/2 scoop chocolate protien powder (I get mine from Walmart)
1 Sugar Free chocolate Handi Snack pudding cup
1 to 1.5 cups of ice
OPTIONAL - add 1-2 tablespoons of Mint, Almond, or Caramel SF syrup (or other flavor you might like)
Put everything in the blender and blend until it is a small smooth ice consistancy
This makes about a 20oz drink, is about 185 calories, and about 17 grams of protien.
So, I just made the discovery that there is NO protien in the Handi Snack pudding! So you may want to put a bit more protien powder in to increase your protien intake, but this also increases the calories!
I have been drinking this for my lunch this week. They are addicting:)

One of my friends got a frozen hot chocolate from Dunkin Donuts and he asked me to taste a sip to see if I liked it because he didn't and wanted to make sure it wasn't just him (since we both always love everything they make). Well I took a sip of it and we both agreed that it was nothing more than ice and hershey chocolate syrup belended together. It was so gross! So, while the idea sounds awesome, it really isn't. Your version sounds so much healtier and yummier. I may have to try it. Awesome job coming up with an alternative!
