hmm... I read that one.. and at 3 months I had none of the issues she mentioned... now, 3 years post op... I have them all... pitty... I know... It sucks. But still - I would NEVER pick the band. That is just a disaster waiting to happen. She is one of the lucky ones.. And even is she has any complications typical to the lapband - she will not admit that.

Hala, when did your bypass problems begin to arise? I had PCOS with sever insulin resistance and would gain 10lbs every 2 months despite metformin and insulin sensitizers...i had to pick the lesser of 2 evils. atleast the rny is giving me a fighting chance at conceiving children and not becoming fully diabetic. Although developing RH would suck...but like i said, lesser of 2 evils..
