I do NOT cook

Ok.....  I am officially struggling... I am having trouble w things to eat.  As I stated - I do not cook, bake, or use an oven all that often.  And unfortunately, have no desire to start - RNY or not.  So I have a few questions.
I have tried a few Lean Cuisines - I do watch the carbs, sugars and protein carefully.  Does anyone else use these?
I eat a lot of beef jerky, cheese, cantaloupe and some deli meats - turkey or ham.  Suggestions?????????
I drink about 50-70g of protein a day and don't plan on that changing...
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Jamie

I don't cook, either.  I don't eat any refined carbs so there are very few frozen dinners I can eat.  I will on occasion have a Marie Calender's roast chicken dinner.  It is just 2 pieces of chicken, some broccoli and carrots and mashed potatoes.  I eat a piece of chicken a few bites of the vegetables and a bite or 2 of the mashed potatoes.  It lasts me 2 days.
I will have some canned chili, ricotta bake is easy enough for me to make, sometimes a pre made salad with some cooked chicken, a rotisserie chicken, maybe a hamburger without the bun or meatloaf.  Not a lot of choices but it's not a big deal to me.  I go out a few times a week so I get a little more variety.

Thanks Ladytazz, I will definitely try the roast chicken dinner! Can you explain to me the ricotta bake?

The way I make it is to take some ricotta, pour some sugar free spaghetti sauce over it and some shredded mozzarella cheese and microwave it for about 3 minutes.  I have this for lunch most days.

There are tons of frozen fish things at Walmart that are microwavable. I eat alot of those. And I eat alot of veggie burgers. Shrimp is good if you like boiled shrimp. You get it pre-cooked in a bag and just let it defrost. I grilled about 5lbs of chicken breasts, divided it up into 3oz portions and froze it.

I don't cook either.

Some of the Smart Ones have just a protein and a veggie.  I eat the one with turkey and green beans.  It lasts me more than one meal.  There's also a salisbury steak and asparagus one.

The other thing I like is Lean Cuisine Turkey noodle.  It has peas in it.  I cook it, then add a small package of tuna and cut up broccoli to it.  This ends up making about four meals.

I'm amazed that you had your surgery around the time I had mine and you can eat jerky.  I am still struggling with meats of any kind so I eat more cottage cheese and tofu (from a vegan thai takeout) than I do meat.

I buy the pre-cooked grilled chicken and use it for all kinds of things. Toss on a little salad or shred it and mix with a little mayo for chicken salad. I also grab Atkins protein bars when I know I need to eat something but don't feel like cooking.

Canned tuna, plain greek yogurt with sf jam stirred in, string cheese, refried beans

Have you ever tried using a crock pot? you can just dump stuff in it and let it cook- it's very simple and tasty and nice moist meat
