Anyone not happy w/way you look....not talking skin...
I always thought I would be soooo pretty..... if i wasnt fat! LOL I am 36 and after loosing 70lbs and being 20lbs away f/goal Im still not happy w/myself. Went out this weekend, and since I was all dressed up had my DH take some pics. (I would post em, but dont have a clue how) Well, after they got downloaded I got to looking and dont like ANY of them! I simply hate the way I look...my face that is! I feel its way to square/round.... my wrinkles around my eyes are screaming botox.... I could go on forever but will spare you. Just wondering if anyone else goes through this???? I guess some people such as myself...will never be satisfied!!!! Thanks for listening.
A lot of people -- most RNYers that I know in real life, in fact -- go through a phase where their face looks particularly gaunt and haggard (sometimes almost sickly), but it almost always softens out over time. I certainly did.
The wrinkles under the eyes and crows feet were bad enough, but I also had loose skin on my neck under my *****from where the huge double chin used to be) and the "parentheses" creases around my mouth were very pronounced and made me look like I had serious jowls (which made me look really old). I had Juvederm injections over a year ago to address the creases. During that year the skin on my neck has improved a lot with the creams I have been using and the wrinkles around the eyes have gotten better. Juvederm is only good for about a year, and although I can see that the effects have faded, my face does not look as bad as it it did before I had it... which is good, because I cannot afford to do the Juvederm again right now!
