I am so excited! The magnetic menu planner that my friend and I created was reviewed by a A Mom's Take Blog and she loved it!! She is doing a giveaway, so be sure to visit her blog and enter to win one of these babies! Her contest ends August 5th.

I am thrilled at the prospect that our planner is being well received. I am convinced that planning and preparation are key to weight loss success, which is why I'm so pleased to be able to share it with the folks here on this forum that I know would benefit greatly from it .

Cross your fingers for our continued success!

I want one!  That is a really great idea!!

My fridge isn't magnetic though.  Do you think I could attach it to a cupboard with velcro or something/?  The board is actually magnetic right, so the magnets would still stick even if it wasn't on my fridge?

Unfortunately, we've found that the draw on the magnetic chart is not strong enough to hold the meal magnets unless there is a metal surface behind it. When we do craft fairs, we take along a baking sheet and put the planner on the back of it. Perhaps velcro (or use one of those removable 3m hooks if the baking sheet has a hole in either end like some of mine do) a small, cheap baking sheet (like dollar store cheap) to the inside of a cabinet door and put it there?

I hope you figure out a way to make it work for you--it really is a great tool. Oh, and if you do find a great idea, please visit our Facebook page and share your idea with us! I'm sure you aren't the only one with that dilemma.

Thanks!

Denise

Thank you Jim!! Now once you try those edamame salads, you can make your very own meal magnets for them (that is if you actually like them--but you have to promise to write Stinkbug Salad on one of the magnets for the quinoa one!). And hopefully once you get it and use it a while we can look forward to my proudly proclaiming that it was reviewed by Jersey Jim and he LOVED it!

I tend to set up my planner with two weeks of lunch and dinner since my breakfast is usually just my no brainer hot protein drink, but like the website says, it is a very versatile planner. Breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner for a week; dinners for 4 weeks (haven't gotten that good yet!), dinner and side for two weeks--plan away my friend, just be sure to StickToIt!!

Hope it helps you continue down your already very successful path!! Thanks again for your support!!

LOL...Stinkbug Salad it is!

Trust me, if I like it, I'll write you a glowing review and include pictures of how I'm using it.

I also menu plan. I do bf, lunch and dinner. It makes life and shopping so much easier. I am a SAHM and I don't have to think "what am I going to make?"
or keep running to the store b/c I don't have the ingredients. I make my grocery list when I make my menu out. My husband actually likes to get involved planning with me.
I hope you will be successful!
