Calcium Absorption

I have searched but cannot find the answer to this and I know it's been talked about here before but....

How much calcium do we absorb at one time? I ask because I just got some calcet creamy bites and they are 500mg each. I am trying to figure out if I can take more than one at a time. I am pretty sure the answer is no, but wanted to to double check.

Thanks

We can absorb about 500 mg at a time.  Those Calcet creamy bites are so yummy, though, aren't they?  I could easily eat a few at a time (I don't, but I could, just 'cause they taste good).
