Laughing Cow Cheese--Aldi's style...

I know Nik, you don't trust 'em. Neither do I. BUT, while the item is there and is a full 2-3+ dollars cheaper than I can get it elsewhere, I'm in. Keep in mind this container is 4oz vs. 6 for Laughing Cow, but the price surely reflects it.

Brought to you by Aldi's...Happy Farm Spreadable Cheese Wedges--cheddar and colby jack blend. $1.49. Yes, you read that right. I've seen these things as high as 4.99 when not on sale at my local brutally expensive grocery store.

The regular flavor (vs. "light") is 50 calories per wedge and 3 gm protein. I did look at the light calories, which came in at 25, but failed to check the protein--duh.

Verdict on the regular: Yummy. I give it one pouch up. Heck, I'll throw in a remnant stomach up too!

Check it out!

Oh...you didn't notice that was an ingredient in my Cheesesteak Scramble? (Well actually I referenced Laughing Cow to avert the "But I don't have an Aldi!" but that's what I used)

Yep...I caved. It's been there about a year so maybe it will continue to be?

Just showed up at mine this week. Man--they were holding out on me! I didn't notice that, but I did use the chipotle queso Laughing Cowt in an omlette scramble the other day--OMG--lots of creamy yum for little caloric cost.

I just bought 3 packs of the turkey sausage sticks--maybe if we keep buying???

There is an Aldi's in the town next to me and I keep saying that I have to give it a try. Given my wife's ADDICTION to Laughing Cow cheeses, this might be just the motivation we need. LOL

I was going to be forced to get a part-time job if I wanted to continue my Laughing Cow habit, especially since someone let on to my 5 year old that they were fun little triangles of yumminess. I am only slightly dismayed that she dips her cheese curls in her triangle, but hey, to each his own!!

Now get your butt to Aldi's! It is a little warehouse-y, at least mine is. And darkish. But I am totally addicted. Hi! My name is Denise and I'm an Aldi-holic. I'm going to need a 12-step program soon. At least that is what the manager tells me when I'm in there spending 75 bucks 3 times a week. LOL!!

I had the Naked Nuggets. Now they are gone.

I had the Turkey Meatballs. Sometimes they are gone.

My lesson: buy in bulk if I see something good!
