I am 4 months out and was told to stay away from popcorn because of the kernels could get stuck in pouch, I dont no if thats true or not but i havent eating any popcorn since i had my rny in march so ask some vets to make sure you can continue to eat popcorn

I have been eating popcorn since 2 mths out and have had no problems. I eat 1/2 of a small bag with the spray buttter. My Dr. said it would not hurt me, but advised to stay away from it because it is a carb. (like I listened to the last part) LOL

I was cleared to eat popcorn at my 6 week NUT visit. Love popcorn in moderation.

I was physically able to handle popcorn at that stage, but I will warn you that it was one of my "gateway drugs" in terms of doing other unhealthy habits...

Like at the movies, I didn't measure out a single serving...and drinking while I ate the popcorn...and thinking maybe a Twizzler is okay.

I'm not telling you no, but proceed with caution, b/c it wasn't my smartest move.
