Hello everyone,

I'm new, just had my surgery on July 8th. I don't know about anyone being rude, but I could use all the support I can get.  I'm wondering if anyone has ever found a flavor free protein powder that I could add to food?? I was hoping it was at GNC, but they didn't carry it.

GNC didn't have any unflavored protein powder?  Maybe try Vitamin Shoppe.  Unjury also makes unflavored protein powder, I think.  You can order samples on their website.

Just be aware that unflavored doesn't mean no taste at all.  It means it's not chocolate or vanilla or something like that but it may still have a little taste to it.

unjury has a protein that has a little flavor but mixes well withfat free cream soups, yoghurt, and you can make jello and hide it in there. Also, crystal lite works too.

^^^^ My point exactly! You don't know me, or my situation! & You don't know if I could be talking about other posts besides the one we all seem to be talking about. So you shouldn't speak on what I may be going through. & You yourself must feel stongly enough about what I have said in response to block me! I have not been rude or aggressive toward anyone...I simply shared my thought. & If you would read my original post again...I was actually refering to posts by other people, as well. Not just my own.

If someone blocks you, you can't see their posts and they can't see yours. So if you saw the post to which you responded, that person has NOT blocked you.

I am not a vet hell I am only 4 months out. I would be LOST without the gals and the guys here. They give you honest no bull**** answers and after having major surgery that is what we all need. Their answers most times are NOT the opinion's but facts either that they themselves had to live with or since they are so far out have seen work in others lives.
No one on the RNY board tries to be or is mean. They, the vets , thankfully are invested in seeing us newbs succeed with this.  If you want rainbows going somewhere else is a good idea...if you want help on this journey stay.

I know you just a few weeks out and hormones are crazy. So maybe take what you need from the post but don't read into the post.

I think some of us are just blunt.  I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, I think it's just my personality.  I don't see the benefit of sugar coating everything or tip toeing around stuff.  But maybe people that haven't been on this forum very  long haven't had a chance to get to know people here so they may take offense at what was just meant to be a simple, factual response.

exactly they get mad or upset saying how can you talk to me like that you do not know me. but if they stopped to think about it a sec. they would see they do not know anyone on the board and how they are. Like I know who to pm or post to to get facts and honest answers...and who to talk to to get cheers and laughs from.
