Stricture

Is it possible to have a stricture and still keep fluids dow? I started the puree stage almost 2 weeks ago and I am having a hard time not keeping stuff down or having the stuck pain in my throat. I seem to keep, I guess the slider foods down, but all the other stuff gives me problems. Do I just need to give my body more time?

Any doubts, call your surgeon.  There are many things that could/could not happen when you develope a stricture.  Everyone is a little different.  Do keep us informed with your out come.

My name is Lisa and I have had 3 strictures already and currently have a very large ulcer.  I'm only gonna be 4 months out on Aug 12th and all this happen to me with in the first month and a half.  I would call your doctor.  I waited to long to call mine and ended up in the hospital for over a week at a time. My nutriention levels just kept dropping due to not being able to get anything down but liquid.  Good Luck!
