14 months out - Hungry all the time
No, you're not alone! I'm 13 months out, and some days the hunger sure is making its presence loudly known.
Protein shakes help me the most even though I still don't like them. Protein bars don't work so well for me. I also like the Power Pak protein pudding- it fills me
up well, and has 30 grms of protein a can. Or a Chobani yogurt.
It's a bear, isn't it?

You will discover a sense of empowerment and peace you have never before experienced. You will come to believe you can overcome your challenges and find some joy in this world." Katie Jay
After all the much appreciated advice I am going to try something. I am going to cut those fiber bars out, which are basically like a granola bar. Those might be part of the problem, but it's weird because I have had the same "eating" routine for months now and it's now becoming an issue.
I get more than enough protein and veggies in everyday but plan to up my protein intake even more. I normally get in between 60-90 grams of protein a day no problem with my food. I didn't realize the thing with the carbs, and the fiber/granola bars have carbs and might be what's causing that afternoon hunger. I am going to start eating more protein based snacks and see if that helps.
I tried a pear with some peanut butter on it last night, holy amazing! I have stayed away from peanut butter because it's so high in calorie, going to go hunting around today after work for a better peanut butter and see what I can find. Trying to brain storm other high protein, dense proteins for snacks, any feedback would be great.
Thanks again everyone for wonderful feedback!
