Artificial Sweetners
I was just wondering who believes that they cause cancer and such? I have heard that for the last decade or so, but I am using them when I bake and such. I'm not sure I believe it, and I've done research to try and figure out if their is any truth to it or not, but there are so many articles back and forth on whether the research proves it or not. So just wondering, what do you all think?

I think I am going to die one day and for the small amount I use compared to the mega doses used in the research, it is nothing to worry about. As you know, many ingredients have been touted as dangerous for our health then years later we are told the reverse is true. Eat, drink and be merry (within moderation) because tommorrow we may croak...LOL
I think they are probably not the healthiest thing we can eat but I doubt they are very harmful for at least most of us if we use them in moderation. I use Splenda when I bake but I don't bake every day. If I was going to make cookies with it and eat several of them a day every single day, I guess it would be more important to investigate and research more carefully.
