when do we stop loosing?
You are far from being done losing weight. I was told by my surgeon and NUT that weight loss will continue for at least 18 months. I had periods so far that the weight loss really slowed down or stopped all together. My last appointment with my surgeon, she asked me what my goal was, I told her and she told me don't be surprised if you drop below that. I am 1 lb from my personal goal. I am just going to continue on this ride and see where it takes me. If you haven't been losing recently, I found that increasing my calorie intake helped jump start the loss again. I guess my body was going into starvation mode. I am eating about 1000-1200 calories a day right now and I am just a few days shy of 7 months post op. Good Luck, hang in there. I know how frustrating it can be, but YOU ARE NOT DONE LOSING.
You are FAR from done losing! Most people's loss slows down at about six months but they continue to lose at a reasonable pace until a year out, and then OFTEN they lose slowly beyond that. My loss slowed to a crawl afer a year but I continued to lose until 20 months out.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Can't speak for you. I hit my surgeons goal at my 1 year mark. I am coming up on my 2 year surgervisary and am 15lbs under my surgeons goal. I am pretty sure you will continue to lose as long as you follow the rules. I still drink 4-5 protein drinks a day. I eat my protein first. I try to get 100 oz of fluids in everyday.
I will live each day in the mindful present
