Did anyone develop new allergies after their RNY?

By the way, the only good that did come from the surgery for this conditon is the fact that the "burned" looking hands have gone back to it's original color and are fine!

I became allergic to not being able to exercise and run. I get all PMS like.

I had the RNY 4 weeks ago.  Last night I was sitting in the room with my 2 cats and 2 dogs (that I have had for 8 years)and  my throat felt like it was swelling up.  I thought it was from being dry and I went in the kitchen to get some water.  I started to feel better instantly.  Then I went back into the living room with the animals and my throat started to swell up again.  So then I decided to go to bed and my throat started to feel better again.  Is it possible to develop an allergy to animals after this surgery.  I understand your body goes through metabolic changes with this surgery, but this would be pretty drastic.
