You are tired and weak from not getting enough liquids or protein.  Set an alarm if you need to in order to wake up and drink during the day.

If you are not taking your depression meds, you may be experiencing withdrawal symptoms, depending on what meds you are on.  I think you should call your doc today about the trouble you're having taking your meds.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well.  I have had the same problem with the pills, not so much from fullness as from the pills really hurting in my pouch.  I have just recently managed to start keeping them down again.

As far as the water you might just want to try sipping constantly.  I have to force myself to watch exactly how many ounces I get in because I really tend to under drink too.

Some of the extreme fullness will get better as time goes by.  The first month was the worst for me by far.

Hang in there!

Not sure what pills you are taking, but I take generic prilosec which may help soothe your pouch a bit.  Try crushing your pills.  You need to get the liquid in.  If water is hard (some folks find it hard, including me) Try putting some flavoring in it.  I found MIO in my water a much easier way to get it down.

I'm assuming the water, coffee and egg aren't taken one right after the other?  If things don't improve you should give your doc a call

Even though I haven't had surgery yet, many in the support groups I attend say you just need to relax and not expect too much from yourself.  You're only 3 weeks out, you're clear liquids are most important, they say keep a bottle of something with you all day and sip, sip, sip, then work on building the protein up a little more each day.  You just had MAJOR surgery and your body is still healing and adjusting.  As for your meds, I would talk to your surgeon about how to better handle those.

Good Luck!!

Peace & Blessings... Kelly
