still in pain, still throwing up... saw surgeon Monday, waiting on ct results

I Posted Monday on the Monday check in for the christmas goals list, that I was sick, in pain, and terribly bad feeling. I saw my surgeon that night. He ordered labs, which were drawn Tuesday. He ordered a ct scan, which was done yesterday. I'm having a super-duper bad day pain wise! They want me to go to the ER for pain control, I'm a single mom, and have to be at the school soon. I can't be in the ER this afternoon. IF it doesn't ease up, and I get no results from the ct scan I'll hit the ER tonight. But for now I'm sitting here, feeling like a 1 day out with my mini sips again. Liquids only day. I've managed some milky pudding (some protein), and some plain water. Anything more than an ounce or two an hour and I'm puking. I'm so tired of living in pain. And all anyone says to me is "was the bypass worth this?" First off we do NOT know it's related yet. And secondly HELL YES! I like how I am now. I like buying normal sized clothes. I'd do it again in a new york Minute.

Just thought I'd update anyone that might be remembering me.

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, I could only imagine how I felt when I was in pain having to leave the hospital and drive myself home soon after surgery and pick up the kids from school. I too am a single mother of 2 small children.  I hope they figure out what's going on maybe a stricture?  Keep us updated on your progress.

I have a hernia near one of the op sites from my bypass. It's a risk of ANY Surgery, and sad but true, I'm a single mom with a disabled son. I wasn't as good as I should have been about not lifting.

It is strangulating so I have to go to the ER for a reduction. IF not who knows.
