has anyone out there had this surgery at the henry ford hospital-warren campus. dr. marshall or dr. pesta? how did it go? how were the nurses and care there? i have to choose a surgeon soon.

 I had my through Beaumont. However, my  understanding is Henry Ford has an oustanding WLS program.

I had mine through Henry Ford West Bloomfield and the surgeon, nurse and hospital staff were fantastic.  I also liked the program. 

I had surgery in April through Dr Pesta. He's a nice man, and judging by my lack of complications, a pretty good surgeon. The stay ay Henry Ford macomb was fine. You r pretty groggy and drugged up to really care one way or another. I only stayed in 36 hours after.

The staff at both offices, the hospital and surgeons office are quite compitant. I felt pretty well informed for what was coming.

I did not have my surgery at Henry Ford however... I just wanted to say hi to some fellow Michiganders! I live near Flint so I went through McLaren. I've had nothing but good experiences with their Bariatric office and my surgeon as well. Good luck!!!
