Labs?
When did you all have your 1st post op labs taken? I am 1 month out and I am scheduled to get them taken in 2 wks, while my friend who also had RNY at the same hospital, same surgeon will be 12 wks out when she first has hers. We were just wondering what the "normal" was. Thanks!
HW 348, SW 326, CW 290, GW 150
It really varies from doc to doc. Seems like most do labs every three months for the first year but some do them sooner than three months out. My first were done at three months, though.
When you get them done, make sure your doc is ordering all the important stuff, and make sure you get a copy of the lab report so you can see the results yourself.
