What Nik said.

Also, I often don't respond to anything when I read from my iPad because it's a pain in the a$$.

Ditto to what Kelly and Sharyn both said.

Sometimes I do not reply to a post because I know my answer will not be popular with some portion of the OH community and I just don't feel like fighting the battle.

Also, at some point, some of the newer membes need to take up some of the slack as some of us who are a number of years out just don't care to answer a question for the 1456th time (let someone who is only answering it for the 15th time do it)...

Some of us could be at work, and don't always have the time to answer.  Sometimes I will help if I can if I already had that experience, or share my experience, point of view, etc.

Also could be tons of just lurkers.

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

I often view but don't post not to be mean but because I dont have much input or anything to add to the other posts. Like now I feel like I'm re-saying what's already been said. It can be discouraging to see 200 views and only get 3 posts - just know we are all here for one another as we are the only ones *****ally understand the journey. We all care - some of us just post more than others.

I haven't had surgery yet, so I can't respond to any post-op questions.  I read the posts, and then I like to read the responses, so that if I run into the same problem, I know if it's normal or not.  I'm not ignoring anybody.......just don't have anything  of substance to offer.......yet.

I am fairly new to the site and to the whole WLS journey.  BUT, I can really sympathize with what the "vets" are saying because if I have to read just one more post about someone who is in a stall ... I think I will scream!

What I have learned is to use the "SEARCH" button for basic information ... if I can't find it there, then I will reach out to the OH community.  More times than not, you will find an answer to your question by searching ...

many reasons, sometimes I have no opinion.  sometimes what I feel was already said and I do not wnat to just take up space, sometimes it just takes to long.  I may be reading just to find information, not to visit or respond.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.
