Good Morning Diva!  Congrats on your gains & good luck with the job hunt.

Took my daughter home - 10 days after her DS - almost 25lbs down since her pre-op liquid diet.  She's doing fantastic.

Me - I'm tired.  It was exhausting having all 4 kids back in the house.  But, I'm being audited at work this week.... so no rest.

My eats today....

coffee, lots of coffee
B - power crunch bar (those folks need to pay me for all the free advertising)
L - ricotta bake
D- Not completely sure?  Some kind of quorn fake meat & whatever the kids want.
S- popcorn w/ butter

AND -- I'm hoping to put in a minimum of 4 miles on the treadmill.  I've challenged DD to the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon in 2013..... I need to get my distance up.

Happy Monday morning after a weekend plus of caring for my post-surgical hubby:

His ear on the right side did not fully form in utereo. Last year, during a routine physical it was discovered that he has resonant hearing in the side without the ear. On Friday, he had the remnant ear removed and four titanium posts installed for an artificial ear and a bone attached hearing apparatus. A true miracle of medicine after 47 years!  However, the effects of anesthesia, IV fluids, pain and numbness are hard on a body and he has been laying low, leaving this mama in charge of the homefront and the three kiddos.  I come to work to rest~:)

My Monday menu:
Peanut butter chocolate protein coffee
Greek yogurt with blueberries and date sugar
cornbread with butter and gooseberry jam
two ounce turkey bacon cheeseburger
cheesy broccoli
apple
tuna noodle
and anything else I can think of to keep my calories up

Errands~big bandages for my sweetie and food for the fam as well as a few Christmas odds and ends

I bought the inexpensive protein at Walmart-- Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein Powder Chocolate Peanut Butter Supplement - 2 Lb for $14.98. One scoop has 130 calories and 23 grams of protein. Using my handy-dandy shaker, I mix 4 oz of skim milk with one scoop and a splash of coffee, pour into my mug and fill the rest with more coffee. I usually zap it in the micro for 30 seconds. Yummy!   It brings me a third of the way to my daily protein goal and is under 200 calories.  It's my daily go-to treat for breakfast...

Darn it!  I haven't been able to find that kind at any of my Walmarts here.  They have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and cookies and cream...  :(

Sounds yummy!

They have it online and I think shipping is only 97 cents or you could do free ship to store.  They are also having their bundle special where you can combine three flavors but I didn't check what flavors are eligible.

This weekend I indulged. A lot. I also moved a lot. But unfortunately for me my pouch doesn't take that into consideration when it gets to ***** slapping me. So...

So far I had a sip of a breakfast protein shake I made for my daughter. I may have a shake for myself pretty soon.

For lunch I brought shrimp and a container of Greek yogurt.

For dinner I am making Satay chicken, mixed veggies and peanut "noodles" (spaghetti squash).
