Miserable....
For the past three days i have felt a constant nausea, my meds for it arent really seeming to help.. and I am miserable.. I am not actually throwing up.. But i cant really eat.. all i can do is drink my fluids. Oh and maybe TMI...But I also have not had a bm in at least a week... Is this why i am soooo nauseated? What the hell can I do to fix it... I can pass gas so i know it's not a blockage... Help me please I am down for the count and cant friggin do anything right now.....It is taking everything out of me....Thank you !
Yeah, constipation can cause nausea. Try a Dulcolax suppository. Guaranteed to make you poop in less than an hour. If you are still really nauseous after that, call your doc in the morning.

Constipation is absolutely awful! I suffered for the first 6 weeks after surgery with it, and tried everything in the book to have a daily BM. I have settled on Miralax every day in my first glass of Crystal Light of the am. This keeps me going. Poetkelly is absolutely right. The dulcolax suppository is just the stick of dynamite you need to go now. DO NOT WAIT! Passing gas does not mean that you do not have a blockage. You can have a blockage even if you have liquid diarrhea passing. Often a blockage is partial and gas/liquid stool can get past it. But I doubt highly that you have a blockage, so try to move those bowels along today. The longer you go without a BM, the more dry and hard the stool becomes. If the suppository doesn't help try a Fleet enema. You can do the saline type and it should give you results in very short order. Then ask your doctor what he prefers for you to take to stay regular. Good luck and feel better soon.
Once you poop the nausea should go away fairly quickly!
