Ok, has anyone had sudden irregular periods after surgery. I am over a week late, two negative PG tests and still no period. I'm usually pretty regular. Why do we complain when we have our period but freak out when it doesn't come? lol

Yep.  I did not have a period for three months post op!  Worked out well for me because I had pneumonia and was in the hospital for a while and it would have just been a mess when I couldn't even get out of bed.

Surgery hasn't disrupted my cycle at all. It came the day I came home from the hospital and reappeared like clockwork 28 days later.

Good to hear I'm not the only one. I've been driving myself nuts about it

mine didn't come for a few months, then came constantly for a few months, and now the past month i've been randomly spotting (always starts strong after sex and tapers off after a week and a half or so), just went to the gyno and she didn't see anything (still waiting on test results), and said i may have an inflammed cervix from the hormones in my birth control in which case i just need to wait it out which is annoying!

I had very erratic periods prior to surgery. It started the day of my surgery. Bleh.

Then suddenly it was like I was in my early twenties again. Just like clockwork, and pms was back.

Now a little over two years out I haven't had one in three months. No possible way I could be pregnant. So I guess either i'm finally in menopause or back to my irregular periods. Not sure.

I don't miss it so long as I know that i'm not pregnant. There is no activity that would cause that in my life right now....lol. So no worries for me.

Met my first goal, met my second goal, met my surgeons goal. Now I have a new goal!
