its starting to be that time of the year...time to start thinking about things you want to accomplish in the new year..well we have all accomplished so much already and some are embarking on their journies...but still...what do you want to change or add or resolve in 2012??

I want to start exercising.  We have had a YMCA membership for a year now.  I go occassionally..but i need to go a LOT.  I need to take advantage of this time i have before its to late..lol  And i want to try to do more things with my soon to be 18 year old daughter..its time to bond before she runs off to college in the fall...*sniff sniff*.

You're right it is that time of year and it always comes around too soon.
My husband and I are supposed to be retired but we just re-invented ourselves.  We sold our old business property and bought a historic inn and mill. ... we are inkeepers now.  We designed new gardens, restored the mill, and give tours of the wildflower trails and mill.  I want to be physically fit to garden and take care of the inn.  I also am a professional artist and I need energy to keep up with the competition.  The initial reason for getting RNY was to control my diabetes and high BP.  My BP dropped dramatically and diabetes is greatly improved already.  I'm dying to see what happens when I lose the remaining 60_+ pounds.  BTW I'm 73 and have to make the most of my time.

I think that when you get started at the "Y" you will make new friends there and will enjoy going.  Good luck to you and get going now. lol
