My favorite protein powder is...
suprisingly - Body Fotress from Walmart!
Vanilla, with a squirt of sugar free Hershey chocolate syrup. This is the cheapest powder I have bought and is available locally. This is GREAT!
I also like Nectars Cappuchino but I think I can make one just as good with the Body Fortress and some decaf instant coffee.
Ive tried Click [mocha latte]and About Time [birthday cake]. Blech- I doctored up the Click with a little FF cream and the choc syrup mentioned above and it was tolerable. But the About Time was too bad to even try to fix.
Ive also been drinking warm tea. I added less than 1/2 a packet of Stevia and it was delicious. Does green tea dehydrate us?

I can't answer about the green tea, but hang onto the other flavors you've mentioned. You'll find that in a couple weeks your tastes may shift again, and you may enjoy things you don't right now.
Having said that, I use Body Fortress daily in my greek yogurt and a shake, and then use About Time in another shake daily, so I think they're both great!

It's always important that you find the protein that works best for you. I am a Nectar girl. I love the chocolate, vanilla, fuzzy navel and roadside lemonade. That keeps me with a lot of variety. I have Any Whey unflavored to doctor up things like pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, things that I bake.
As far as the green tea, it has caffine, so it has a dehydrating effect. And shouldn't count towards your daily fluid intake. It's quite often quoted that caffinated beverages need to be balanced with an equal amount of non caffinated beverage above the 64 ounce goal per day. Herbal teas, which actually contain no tea leaves and are fruits and herbs are natuarly decaffinated and do count towards your daily fluid intake.

Thanks for the info ladies. I have a unflavored packet of protein powder from Unjury that Im still deciding what I want to use it in. And as for tea.. there are SOOOOOOO many choices I think I can manage staying away from green tea. It kinda sucks though because I LOVE Snapples Diet Peach Tea which actually has Black [I know is bad] and green [now I know is bad] tea in it. BTW I also love Honey Vanilla Chamomile Tea with just a little Stevia.
I used Body Fortress for pretty much the first year. Because I am on a tight budget I looked all over to find the least expensive protein that was tolerable. I found a whey protein isolate unflavored that I purchased 20 lbs of. I used that up in about 2 months so this time I purchased 50 lbs. It was only $200, which works out to $4 a pound. You can't beat that. I think the Body Fortress is about $7.50 a pound. I can use it in anything I want and put in whatever flavors I like. It is good in cooking and baking, too.
