OT I Finally Did It XPost
That's so great!! I've always wanted to donate to them but I think I'd have to shave my head at this point to make their minimum donation length....

They want at least 10 inches. I think she cut of 13 inches. I thought it would be too thin to use but the hairdresser said it should be fine.
I really fought cutting my hair and I am glad I did it. It looks so thin and straggly before and now it actually looks thicker. Everyone always said it would but I didn't believe it.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
I hated having to cut my hair after all the hair loss (I lost about 8 inches), but it really does lok better when we cut the thin "scraggly" stuff off and have just the shorter, fuller style. It does take getting used to, but at least it won't tangle easily!
Now that my second round of hair loss has passed, and the hair I lost during the first period of loss after the RNY is below my ears, I am probably going to grow mine back out. It grows really slowly, though.
Enjoy your new style. I think it looks great.
