What the h***is this gurgling noise coming from my throat after eating?

 Anyone else experienced a weird gurgling noise emanating from their throat after eating?  I am on puréed foods and not all foods sit well...any thoughts?

I had that like for several weeks after my surgery, I would eat and this noise comes bubbling up from the deep, lol.  I also had severe gas every night for about 5 weeks, its all better now.  Still have some rumbling from my stomach, especially if something sits really good, its almost like its giving me an approval for sending something good down.  Lol.

I have the same experience and I think it's the air being forced out by the food going in. So far I have found that if I hold my arm/s over my head it helps get it all out quickly.

Well, I hate to say, the noises continue.  It was explained to me like this:  imagine the cones they use to put oil in a car - if you put food in that and there is air or liquids at the same time, there will be noise.  I don't know if that is right but that is just what I was told.  Even if you don't drink with your meal, there is some rumbling in there.  I find it a bit embarassing but I don't think it is as loud to others (at least that is my story and I choose to believe it - lol)

Are you sure it is the THROAT that the noise is coming from?  MANY people have some pouch noise very early out and then pretty loud intestinal gurgling after RNY (it gets much better as time passes, but for a lot of people never completely goes away) but I have not heard of noises from the throat.
