OT -what kind of crafts do you do?
I'm currently in a knitting phase but love all crafts. I enjoy paper quilling (I made cards at Christmas time), jewelry making and origami (I love making these for small gift items http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EALg0uy_pmg).
Have you ever tried coffee filter flowers? That's going to be my next project. I bought all the stuff, just need to make the time! http://www.marthastewart.com/266346/paper-roses
Another great website for craft project ideas and inspiration is http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects They have lots of different, interesting ideas!
Happy crafting!

I love that jewelry..its so pretty. And kelly those bags sound just awesome i will have to try to make some.
Its winter time here and i work at a Joann's...so guess what..i do lots of easy crafts. I also teach basic crochet classes and do demo's on Saturdays. I always say i am not really good at anything but i can do the basics of lots of stuff. I crochet but nothing elaborate. I make baby hats and booties and adult hats and scarves and dishrags. I also knit. I made some mittens for my grand kids, i make hats, scarves and would like to make some vests for my granddaughters and sweaters. This is something i have set aside for "later". lol Recently i have been making tube pillowcases also for my grandkids... these are fun and easy to make. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrYWCma9wgM
Also i used to do plastic canvas stuff. Its been quite a few years but i was thinking i should take a look at what i have and make some valentines boxes for my grandkids for Vday parties at school. My daughter has 7 kids so they would get good use out of them. I have a whole container of patterns and kits and things so thats what i have been working on.
I also do some loom scarves and hats which i am going to start making and giving to organizations for the homeless and poor. Also, Baby hats for the hospitals as they need soft hats for the preemies and other babies.
Would love to know how to quilt but i can't do it all and i just don't have time to do that. And i have made dozens of fleece tie blankets for people. I love to work on things like this..

I love the fleece tie blankets. I have made several for gifts for various people. They are so easy and so soft and snuggly.

I knitted hats and scarves by the dozens and kind of burned out on that.
I made budget books for a couple of my girls. I put colored pocket dividers
in a binder I decorated, one pocket thingy in the front for bills to be paid,
and it holds envelopes, stamps, address labels which I made etc.,
and then did up a budget worksheet with cool colors on the computer so
each month has its own budget sheet for writing everything down (income,
expenses for all kinds of categories, savings etc. and notes). The girls
loved them and they cost a pretty penny to buy "pre-made". This way
they can also customize them and it cost me very little to actually make.
Each month's pocket divider holds receipts and paid bills etc. so
everything is there for the year. Now I'm making them for the rest of
the girls and my sisters.
I am working on braided rag rugs and baskets using fabric scraps, and
hope to make some very cool bags and things with plastic bags. You
iron fuse them together between sheets of wax paper and when they
cool, you have a multi-color plastic fabric of sorts that you can sew
or cut into strips and braid etc. Haven't done it yet, but it sounds too
cool. That should keep me busy for a while. I might think about
sewing up some Spring jumpers that I can pair with capris and
leggings for Spring and Summer. It's hard to find the style that works
with my build, and the right length etc. so I just might make my own.
Haven't yet decided if it's worth the effort though. All that, plus the
house stuff I have lined up starting in the Spring, should keep me
plenty busy. Busy hands aren't putting food in my mouth!

Yeah, that's why I like to crochet. It is impossible to eat and crochet at the same time!

I do most of the crafts mentioned. What I can add to the mix is rubber stamping. I made all my Christmas cards this year, plus some to sell. I made my daughter's wedding invitations. I have made tons of shower invitations. You can get lots of cheap supplies on ebay. I will be making Valentines soon.
I love the envelope idea from calendars...that is a great idea.
The only craft I do is I make stained glass windows. I have not made any since I had my surgery 26+ months ago. I have a studio in my garage and lots of glass. I love it. Even with my poor eyesight I continue to make windows using magnifiers at times.
Stained glass and making the frames to frame them is the only craft I have ever done...oh with the exception of macrame. I have an unfinished macrame table hanging in my closet that I really need to finish.
