Good! When I posted the update several folks said they live near you so please DO post if you need something. I'm sure one of them would be glad to assist. If I lived closer I'd henpeck over you. Be thankful you don't have to go through THAT experience

LOL... I would be honored to be henpecked by you, Nik.

Yeah, Tony is less than 5 minutes away, and Mia is also somewhere in the area... and Kelly is not horribly far away (but in a diffferent area code, LOL).  Fortunately, my mom is only two streets away (literally), and she is retired, so she is a lot of help.  I should mention, however, that when I begged her to bring me my iPad and some Greek yogurt (you wouldn't believe the crap they wanted me to eat!) yesterday (very sore and swollen throat so only soft foods were going down at all), it really wasn't necessary for her to lecture me on the amount of food in my refrigerator for someone who eats so little.  Really, mom?!? You picked NOW to give me grief over the amount of cheese, yogurt, and meat in my fridge?!?  (They had a sale on cheese last week and I always buy 2 weeks worth of yogurt at a time at Walmart)

See...that's why I don't let my mom in my house.

Thank you for updating, Lora.  I'm glad you are on the mend.

I came here specifically to see if you were ok, so I'm happy you are doing better.

Very happy to hear you are doing a bit better & going home.
It's so hard to heal while you're in the hospital.

So glad you get to go home!  Please take care and let yourself heal before trying to take on too much.  Dogs can be very demanding:)
Just to be able to sleep in your own bed and have your own bathroom and surrounded by your stuff will make a huge difference.

So glad you're feeling better... wish you hadn't had any of the issues to begin with, but glad you're feeling better and you're ok.  Was definitely worried about you...

Have a good weekend, with better food than what you've had the last several days!

Oh....uh, hi Lora, were you away?

Hee, hee, hee...Just kidding! I was checking the board whenever I had a free moment because I was  worried about you. I saw right away when you posted, which made me  happy. I knew that as long as you were okay I'd be able to touch bases when I had a chance, and here I am to say..Yayyyy and thank goodness that whole terrible ordeal is OVER!!!  I'm glad you had your mom around, and a team of good medical people to get you on track again. You do make me wonder if I should keep food in an medical  emergency bag because the food at the hospital sounded worse than cat food.

I'm glad you're home and hope all continues to go well!

Kat
