I eat anywhere between 700 and 1100 calories a day. I am about 10 weeks out of surgery. Is this too much? Too little?

My NUT told me I would eat around 600 calories a day until about 6 months out, then about 800 to 1000 calories 6 to 12 months and then 1200 to 1400 calories until I hit goal.  You may want to check with your NUT to see what they recommend.

I'm at 8 weeks, and eating about 500-600 per day. I fill up so fast, and so many foods turn my stomach, that I can't even imagine getting four digits unless I'd really break some rules.

But I see from your ticker that you're making good progress, so I guess you should continue what you're doing!

I'm in the same boat as you X. . . . 700 to 1100, but I also burn about 400-500 cals in exercise.  I also have a feeling i'm eating much, but my protein is ~100 grams and my fat and carbs are fairly low.  I keep losing so I guess that's good. . . .

My nut told me to not worry so much about the calories.  She told me to make sure I get a protein, fruit OR veggie, and a starch at every meal, about 1 ounce of each, she also told me to make sure I'm drinking milk or a protein shake between meals.  She said my main focus should be 64oz of water and protein, and as long as I was following that I would be fine.  That being said, I monitor my calories daily, because I just want to know if nothing else.  Mine varies from 600 on my really grumpy pouch days, to 1000 on my non grumpy pouch or heavy workout days.  I don't think it's too much at all.  I know some people struggle to get 500 in, but I also know my Dr told me that eating too few of calories can put your body into starvation mode, especially if you work out.  If you have concerns, I would definitely ask your surgeon/NUT because everyone seems to have different guidelines.  I just wanted to share what I eat :)  I had surgery 12/2.  I am aobut 9.5 weeks out.  I started stage 4 (solids and really anything I want to try within reason) a few weeks ago. (week 6)

I also drink 2 Unjury protein shakes a day also which adds it on, but i think it's definitely worth it.

I agree with you totally.  I drink 12 total ounces of skim milk with protein powder which is where ALOT of calories come from, but they are good calories.  :)

At 10 weeks, I did 800 cals daily and once a week, an 1100 cal day to convince the body I wasn't in starvation mode.
