protein bars
For protein bars, I keep Quest and Power Crunch on hand. I actually have a mini fridge in my office and keep protein shakes and string cheese as a better alternative to bars.

I don't keep protein bars at work. Instead, I keep single-serve protein powder in flavors I know I like, and a couple self-stable milks (most grocery stores and Walmart carry this in the organic food aisle). If I need to stay late and have protein, they're still a better deal for me.

Brands can vary by flavor or type of bar but I have found Quest bars (questproteinbar.com) and Pure Protein bars are high in protein (20 g) and low in net carbs and sugar. Atkin bars are low in carbs and sugar but some have very little protein. I have also found some Detour bars with 15 g of protein and low carbs. I buy the Pure Protein and Detour bars at Sam's Club. They are by the protein powders near the vitamins.
