When did you hit your first plateau ?
No, losing three pounds in two weeks is not a plateau. A plateau, or stall, is when you lose NOTHING for a month or more.
The only real stall I had was at six months out.

I excerise at least 5 days a week for an hour.
I don't eat many calories because I still can't fit much in my pouch, I eat my proteins and then focus on fruits and veggies.
No starches at all, am terrified to try bred/pasta/mashed potatoes. I am actually really aware of what goes in my mouth and drink water water water.
Maybe it is possibly my muscle gain..

I had a little micro-stall sarting 9 days out. Seriously.
I'm two weeks out of surgery, I've lost 10lbs (21 pounds total, with pre-op diet), and the scale has come to a screeching stop for the last 5 days. BUT, I'm also on my period, my sodium levels are a bit high, I haven't quite been hitting my water goal, and that fast 21-lb drop probably dumped a little extra estrogen into my system, so I know I'm retaining buttloads of water right now.
When my cycle is over, I should see a nice lovely drop on the scale.
:)
Have faith. It will pass.

If you are still losing weigh at all, you have NOT hit a stall or a plateau. That is when you experience no loss at all for several weeks.
My first one was around 6 months out. My longest one was around 9 months out and lasted NINE WEEKS.

14 years out; 190 pounds lost, 165 pound loss maintained
You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

at 6wks I'd only lost about 13lbs. Keep working your plan and doing what you know to be the right thing.
As others have said a plateau means the scale isn't moving at all for a long period of time. I think I am inching into the 6mth stall because I have bounced the same 3lbs up / down for about 3 wks now. No worries - take measurements and go from there, because they keep on going down!
