Has he written much on a vegan diet for post ops?

I heard him speak on it and it left me frowning. He spoke mostly of veganism in terms of non-ops. About how people in Africa and Asia eat plant based diets and are so much healthier. Yeah...but did they have malabsorptive digestive systems???

I could respect what he said more if he'd made a connection to post-op life. But that was a few years ago.

That's kind of what I thought.  I've heard about some of the talks he's done on it.  And post ops with RNY need significantly more protein than those that have not had RNY.  We know that because we base it on our labs.  Before RNY, I got maybe 40 grams of protein in an average day.  And my protein level was good.  Now, I need twice that much to keep my level good.
