x post 6 months out - what's appropriate?
That's probably fine. I ate about 1000 calories at that time but I also didn't exercise much. Are you getting the desired results on that plan? If so, then it's right.

No I think I need to tweak something. Hardly lost anything this month. Couple of pounds maybe but not a lot.
I like excercising because it doesn't just make me feel stonger, but it is therapeutic. I was stressed and frustrated and really quite cranky before going to zumba today, and when I came out I was practicaly manic (exaggeration) but was in a pretty good mood.
I'm guessing endorphins. I think I need to up my excercise. (maybe it can be my cross addiction!)

Well, more exercise certainly won't hurt! You know, though, it seems common for many people to have stalls around six months out. I did not lose anything my whole sixth month post op. So your weight loss may speed up next month.

Hey there! I haven't seen you in awhile. Glad to see you're doing well.
So I was just reading a little of your blog about your loss. It's true that it isn't as fast as some have had, but everyone has a different journey. And since you started out as a 'lightweight', you won't have as quick of a loss as those who started out much higher (like me. my surgery weight was 99 more pounds than your start weight).
I think you are on track with your calories. You are doing well and exercising too.

Thanks. Not on here as much as before. Good thing really because I'm more active and on the go.
I wanted to lose a hundred in a year and then maintain. I have to probably reevaluate that. This past month as been particularly slow to the point of non-existent. Thought that might happen but later on.
Like you say we are all on a different journey towards the same goal. Some of us are on a level path others have a level path that gets rocky from time to time, and then some are climbing uphill all the way to get there, lol.
Getting ready to go to a 90 min zumba event for charity so if that doesn't make some of this shift this week I don't know what will!

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm only a little over 2 months out and I've been tracking my calories on Sparkpeople but seem to be averaging between 500 - 900 calories a day. I have no idea if I'm loosing since I refuse to get on the scale until I go back to the doctor in April. Is that a bad thing? I know my clothes are looser but they aren't dramatically looser? I really hope I am loosing......
Ok I'm rambling ....

I did the same thing as far as not weighing except at the surgeon for my first 3months. I did ,however, weigh with my fitness trainer because she does my measurements once a month -- but I didn't "count" that weight. (now it is what I go by since I won't be back to the do****il May)/
Get measurements if you haven't already... great thing!
