Can you take 2 bariatric advantage multivitamins at the same time?
Instead of spacing them out throughout the day?

Thanks

People have differing opinions on this and I'm not sure there is a "scientific" answer, but we can probably only absorb certain amounts of some nutrients so to make sure you absorb as much as possible, it's probably better to separate them.

I've always taken my multis together - even though NUTs tell me to space them apart. I'm just lazy that way..... But never had any problems with any of the levels in multis to date. I'm probably pressing my luck on it, so I would advise to space them apart.

it may be okay now but in the long run, it will affect you.  too much at one time.

Also, do your multis have iron and calcium?  Are you taking them with other iron and calcium?  if so, they are going to block the absorbtion.  You can only absorb so much calcium at one time and the calcium in multi's is the wrong type, so if you take too much of the wrong type with the right type, you are just wasting it all.  Also, you can take 300mg of calcium with iron but if you take 2multis with your iron, you will get more than 300mg of calcium, so you wont' absorb the iron either.

it is best to just take your multis 2 times per day - multis with no iron, then take them with your calcium, you have to take your calcium multiple times per day anyway, so it isn't any extra dosing.  Also with that, take your D, B12, B1.  Then by itself, take your iron and vitamin C.

Yeah, no worries - I know about the calcium & iron thing. I take them well separated.

My question is, do you take your multis with either iron or calcium?  It isnt' a problem when you take it with one multi but it you take it with 2 multis, you wont absorb them  Either too much calcium with iron or too much calcium at one time.
