Not true. My use of profanity came after your "bigot" remarks, and made BECAUSE of your remarks. And yet, I apologize for my remarks because they were hurtful. Good luck on your journey.

Thanks Jim, I too apologize that the comment angered you. Not that it is an excuse but it was made during a very emotional, sleep deprived moment. I felt attacked by so many when I was already in a vulnerable state. Your information was so valuable to me. It has completely changed my post op beIng able to refer to the plan you posted. I am so happy you thought to look for it and posted it.

Actually, you said most of the responses were from narrow minded bigots, although you did not name any names. And you said that BEFORE anyone had used any foul language.

It seems to me that you have a problem being truthful. You change your story all the time and you twist things a lot. I encourage you to seek therapy for this.

i think the story line changing hourly disturbs me more than anything, she posted she was seeing her dr at noon today,, then guess what, NO DR TODAY, only on wednesdays???? changing dr ,,,nope not changing dr???? if you look real close she is trying real hard to take on the persona of one that posts a lot...........guess!!!!!

"Posts" is plural. I saw only ONE response that had any swearing in it (you should have rellied directly to him) and there was noting bigoted in ANY of the replies. One does not have to feel that the bigoted and narrow minded comment was applicable to them in order for them to become angry about the comment. I was angry when I read it even though I do not believe that anything I said was narrow minded or bigoted, nor do I consider myself mentally unhealthy.

Take this for what it is worth, but I think you should just let this thread die without further replies. Let it go so everyone can move past the whole incident instead of keeping it alive. Just trying to help, because I was intending/trying to just let it all go until I saw this reply and then felt like I had to comment because that accusation was what pissed me off the first time around... but I really would like to see it all die.

If the posts in question were reasonable and appropriate, why did OH remove them for violating TOS. Just saying. Out of 67 posts, only 14 were considered NOT to be personal attacks. And very few of those posters apologized.

As far as I'm concerned it's dropped. Even though the posts, which 90% have been ignored and will soon be removed due to their inflammatory nature. I will still respond to the people that are genuine in their replies to me and I felt Deb was. I was concerned that she thought I made that comment about her. Before my surgery I found her posts very helpful and informative.

I was checking In on that thread pretty regularly throughout the evening and into the wee hours of the morning (avoiding working on my dissertation). There was NOTHING that was obscene or a personal attack BEFORE you posted the bigoted remark unless the OH moderators were deleting them without comment almost as soon as they were posted (which would be highly unusual). Your definition of inflammatory and mine are obviously very different and I have a REALLY hard time believing that 90% of the responses are going to be deleted due to their "inflammatory nature". I thought your comment was the most inflammatory of any of them.

You are waiting for apologies from others when you have not, to my knowledge, apologized for your "bigoted", " narrow minded" and "mentally unhealthy" (however that one was worded) comments. Seriously?!?

Ok, this is not worth my time and energy anymore.

I want a disease that the cure for is smoking. I call BS. Talk about rationalizing. I give you credit though. In all my years of smoking I never thought to tell people that my smoking was treatment for a lung disease. I suppose if I told my surgeon that he would have laughed me out of his office.
