What's for dinner - Friday!
Not sure I want to try to "make up for it" at dinner or not. Not really sure what I want.
The truth is, I'm still hella full from lunch.
Here's what I've had today:
1. PB Oatmeal with Fiber One
2. A slice of veggie pizza and a side salad (please note when I say a slice of veggie pizza this was at one of those OLD SKOOL pizza places with gargantuan sized slices. I dunno what posessed me to eat the whole slice. I think the debbil got up in me. Thankfully my blood sugar stayed steady but I am still not particularly hungry...)

lunch with hubby was black eyes peas, cabbage and meatloaf, ate lunch late so I am not hungry for any dinner, I ate a really good lunch, so might have a protein shake tonight for a snack..
LOL Cleopatra I love your honesty, it is so refreshing :)
Besides...then I couldn't swoon about how GOOD that damn pizza was!
I have a big eating capacity. I used to freak about that. Until I met someone honest enough to admit to having a large eating capacity too. That person rarely posts here anymore so I figure if I can be a reassurance to someone else, that's great.
I try to stay on the right side of good most days and I keep going back to that gym but...one thing that is a red flag to me that my addiction has the upper hand is when I start lying about what I eat.
And I hate that ******* addiction, more than I love my reputation...whatever reputation that might be...
:)

If I get dinner before we go out, then I have to feed the kids in the car in their nice clothes. If I get dinner after we go out, then my daughter is going to be tired and crankypants and we'll all be miserable.
I might just get the Kiddo a sandwich on the drive home and make myself some soup when we get back. It'll be a late dinner, but eh. I don't have anywhere to be tomorrow, so I can stay up a bit.

For Christians, it's Sunday. For Jews, it's Friday at sundown to Saturday sundown.
For those who observe, it's a total rest from all work, business, and chores. Usually involves attending services, social gatherings, family meals, and something fun--games, walks to the park, etc. I haven't been very observant, and I miss it. Friday nights should be like taking a deep breath and forgetting about your obligations for a day in order to just be relaxed and at peace. And lately, my Fridays have been rushed and hectic.
I'd like to get back that ol' Shabbat feeling. ;)
