Hmm... guess it's good to know there's something else that can be done after RNY if need be..

 I would not get the band again if you paid me a million bucks!   I had nothing but pain with that damn thing for two years.    

Hopefully she will do a better job.

I hated the band- pure misery.  I hope it works for her.  She seems very unhappy right now.

Couldn't she just have had her RNY pouch shrunk/revised?  Isn't it even possible with the sleeve to have it revised down the road if it gets stretched out?

This just makes me so sad that she did this because I have a feeling that it will be a (public) failure.  I wonder if she's getting it for free and that's why she's being so vocal about it.  I truly wish her the best but I don't have very high hopes.

I hope she isn't chasing a "quick fix"....most of us know too well that it takes so much work along with the tool...and you have to do it for life.
