Anticipation...

Just sounding off!  I still have 2 more hurdles to get over, my NUT visit and an EGD, all my other testing has been done.  I'm hoping they set my surgery date when I go to the NUT on the 12th... The anticipation is killing me! 

Well if it makes you feel any better you are way ahead of me!! lol The anticiapation is killing me as well. Patience is a virtue that I don't have. I hope you get your date soon!

Don't die before your surgery!!        You're on the home stretch.  Soon you will be joining us newbies.        Best wishes for an early surgery date.

And the anticipation doesn't end post-op. Im now 5 days out and now I can't wait for my first post-op appt! Im trying to be good and not get on the scale until then but it's so hard!

I can't wait!

 Just hang in there, I had what seemed like a never ending series of tests and Nut appts. I started my program in June 2011 and am FINALLY facing surgery a week from tomorrow! So just hang in there and keep up your hard work, I feel for you. This process was one of the hardest things I have done in my life, it just seemed like it would never end, and all I wanted to do was start my new life with my new tool that was going to help me finally get healthy! It may sound a little dramatic to say its that hard but it really has been, with all  the emotions and the constant daydreaming of healthier days, ughh its been a long road.
I found this board incredibly helpful, I noticed pretty quickly that my family and friends didnt want to constantly talk about my surgery! HOW DARE THEM!! LOL just joking, but it was always nice to come here and have people that seemed as interested and inquisitive as I was about the surgery and life after.
