Question
That's why I didn't clarify.
For me, the "honeymoon" was when it became "easy" to gain weight even when my food intake didn't change.
After a LOT of thought though, I do believe that the disappearance of "easy" is more closely correlated to overstuffed classrooms. Teaching in a classroom meant to house 30 students, I was dynamic and mobile. But from the time I had to stuff 52 desks into the classroom, I had to curtail ALL mobility during the teaching day. Even after I kicked 5 desks out of my classroom, there just isn't enough room to move. It's one thing pacing around around the room with a few feet separating me and the first row of students. But with barely 3 feet between the front wall and the first row of kids, I just have no ability to walk up and down in front of the students. All it takes is one tall kid and I'm tripped up on his feet.
Perhaps, if class sizes had not risen so high, I would believe myself still in my honeymoon.

Many say the first six months are the most important and the period with the quickest, easiest weight loss. But that one can still lose relatively easily for up to 18 months or even 2 years. After 6 months, my weight loss slowed dramatically even though I did not change my eating habits at all. However, at 6 months, I was getting pretty close to goal weight so I certainly couldn't expect to lose forever at the same pace.
