the day of surgery - not counting the weight you gain from fluids but that isnt real weight gain -it is just fluid, you will lose if fast - you should have lost it by now and then everyone has a stall at 3 weeks.

its only been 7 days - dont putt too much pressure on yourself or you will drive yourself crazy. I dont know about revisions if they are different but for first time around - it is normal to 10-20 pounds the first months, then 10 pounds per month for months 2-6, then 5 pounds per month for months 7 -12, that gives you 90 pounds in the first year. Then there are variations - the more you way, the more you will lose - I was a lightweight with 100 pounds to lose, so these were my guidelines, so if you have more to lose, you might lose faster but if not, everyone loses differently and as long as it comes off and doesnt come back - that is what you want. It took a longtime over your lifetime to gain, so it is going to take time to lose. If you lose it too fast there is more chance that you will gain it back. Losing slowly and safely is healthy. I am not saying lose 1/2 pound per week but also you dont want to lose 10 pounds per week either like on biggest loser -those are unrealistic expectations.

Just follow the diet, get in your protein, get in your fluids, take all your supplements, make sure you are walking and when allowed exercise - it will come off. Be patient - it will happen.

good luck
