Ok this might be a dumb question but I had my surgery on 03/15/12 and I was doing great and I am still eating what I am suppose to but since I started soft foods I noticed that the weight is at a stand still and I have not lost anything since. Is this normal or do I need to up my walking?

it was the norm in my world...after 3 weeks i was in a stall for about 2 weeks...i was sure this procedure (for me) was another failure, but, believe me the scale will start to move again...be patient and continue you plan...good luck

This is very normal. you are taking in food now. More calories and fat,,,,etc. Stick to your plan, you will start losing again. You body is changing. It thinks it is in starvation, so your body is slowing down its calorie and fat burners. Keep doing what your doing, it will start again.

Philippians 4;6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Yep, totally normal. One day soon you'll step on the scale and be amazed at how many pounds you've lost.

This is so common that if you did a search for stalls, you'd see hundreds and hundreds of posts about the dreaded 3 week stall. You can do yourself a huge favor though by staying off the scale if it causes stress because this journey is full of ups, downs and standstills.
