OT: slightly irritated by OneStopPlus ad

Gee I wish I'd known about this website when I was plus sized - anyone ever heard of it? OneStopPlus..... apparently they carry sizes 12W-44W.

Anyway, I just saw an ad on TV - the thing that has me fuming is the friggen model was, at best, a size 8!!! C'mon people, there are enough plus sized beauties that can fit the clothes you sell!! Ugh. (just venting).

I haven't seen an ad for it on TV

The biggest plus sized ad model I've ever seen is maybe a size 12. Maybe. I know Stephen Tyler's daughter is a plus sized model too. She modeled for Lane Bryant I believe.

Yeah, I've ordered from them several times. Cynthia Bailey the model on the show RHOA models for them and she is tiny.

YUP, I order from them all the time they are great....sometimes the clothes run larger/ and more WIDE than the number on the label, but they always have coupon codes on line, if you get on their mailing list they send you magazines with additional promo codes and codes for like free handbags (just reciently)...I have been happy with everything BUT i I did notice that is that if the model is sitting down and super skinny not allowing you to see the outfit or top in its entirety...its because it dosent look good on (my opinion) I always send those back so thats what i look for...when ordering on like they sometimes offer additional pieces at a great discount even earings...

Ive shopped them but dont care for the clothes...always the shirts are too long and pants too baggy. I am still a size 16-20 depending on the store and shop Old navy, Lane bryant and Torrid.com mostly.

Torrid uses actual real live plus size models too so its nice to see someone who is probably a size 18 or with wide hips wearing something...actually get a little better idea if it looks good on a larger frame.

definitely something i always liked about torrid, aside from the fact that they had more alternative clothing which i loved. unfortunately, there was never one near where i lived so i would have to drive an hour or order offline.
