Plain greek yogurt recipe please
I have one individual Fage Greek yogurt and I need some ideas to make it taste good. I have tried many of the ideas I've seen on here and I must not be doing it right. If you have an exact recipe that would help me since I apparently don't know what "a little pudding mix" or "a splash of sugar free syrup" means
thanks!
thanks! For a 6 ounce container of Chobani I add 1 packet of Truvia and a tablespoon of Torani SF French Vanilla syrup. It gives me a good base for whatever else I am adding-i.e. fruit (at this time of year I use 1 cup of unsweetened, frozen strawberries, peaches or blueberries and cook it down with a packet of Truvia to concentrate the flavor and increase the sweetness.
Here's a recipe using things you may already have in your fridge.
Put 1 tbsp lowfat cream cheese in a bowl and nuke for about 20 seconds or until soft and bubbly.
Add some splenda (start with two teaspoons and work your way up if the final result is not sweet enough) and a squirt of lemon juice and mix.
Then add your greek yogurt and stir really, really, REALLY well.
Top with fresh fruit.
It's essentially cheesecake without eggs. Low-carb, low-fat and delicious!

I like mine BEFORE surgery but will have to wait a week to have it again is splenda and raw oats , I made it almost cookie dough consistency also like adding some cottage cheese to that mix.
I also like milking down re fried beans and salsa blended ( to thick soup) adding Fage yogurt ( taste like sour cream) and a pinch of REAL cheese ( haven't had that for months before surgery !!! )

The lipton soup is a good one.
I started using the recipe I posted above when I realized the pudding mix is more calories and carbs than just using a tbsp of lowfat cream cheese.

I mix a packet of Splenda, a teaspoon of sour cream and a tablespoon of sf pudding mix and half a scoop of unflavored whey isolate protein and mix well and top with sf Cool Whip. I have this as a snack almost every day.
