approved  yes :)  but now I'm feeling so nervous and lost on how to prepare for this.. i should be excited more but i feel overwhelmed. I'm having a hernia repair as well.. I been on this site for a while now learning as i was waiting for approval. thank god i can come here for advise or help..  any advise for pre-op.
I only have to fast the night before..

Congrats! My advice is to keep researching as much as you can. Whenever a question popped in my head I would do a search here and I have always been able to find the answer.
Try not to worry too much, the little bit of pain we go through after surgery is so worth it!

I am so excited for you even though I dont know you.  I am currently awaiting my status to change from pending , under review to approved..Sheesh Im all tied up in nots right now.  I dont know what I will do if they would deny me..ugh! well anyhow, good luck!!

awwe thank you, I'm so glad i can count on GREAT people for help and support..

I do know what your going thru i think waiting is the worse, and then when you get approved we sometimes go into denial because we cant believe it..lol

Ugh... I know the feeling. I have started my journey and am half way thru. I am hoping to have RNY in July. I am soooooo scred of denial for whatever reason!

Your surgeon, nutritionist and nurse practitioner should provide you with plenty of info on prepping....for now, relax, take a deep breath and imagine being free of the old, bad habits that helped get you to this state...
