Ok some of ya wanted me to maintain a daily workout thread but due to some issues I was unable to hit the gym this morning and decided to have a slacker day.

Issue is that I have been having wicked dizzy spells the last few weeks.  This past weekend mt standing BP actually it 80s/50s with a HR in the 70s.  I saw a cardio doc monday and he is running or Cortisol and TSH panel and has ordered a Tilt Table test.  Primary ran full labs and everything is in check including electrolytes, I guess guzzling the Powerade 0 is working.  He thinks hydration isn't the issue due to my over all fluid intake, but I'm not sure.  He is also reffering me to a neuro and is thinking it may be something related to my kidneys.

Almost busted my head last night they were so bad.

so how are you slacking off today!

Hope you are feeling better soon. I had a spell like that years ago. No one ever figured what it was. Lasted about two weeks. I had all kinds of tests run. Even had some balloons stuffed in my ears and filled with water to check my equilibrium. I was fine if I was laying down, but couldnt stand or sit up straight for long or I got dizzy and nauseated. Came on quickly and went away just as fast. Hope you have the same luck.

Im sure you can do with a slacker day. You definitely earn them.

No slacking for me today. After my beatings on Monday, I slacked for two days trying to rest my feet, knee and now back. BUT, I have time with the trainer tonight. I'll do hill intervals on the treadmill as a warm up, then get my ass kicked for half hour.

Sorry to hear about your dizzy spells, Paul... that totally sucks.  I get them sometimes and for me, I think they are related to weather/barometric pressure and the like... but it's awful.  Hopefully they'll find some answers for you...

I did my morning workout already today... waiting til dinnertime yesterday was HORRIBLE because there was a million people around and it was generally a pain in the butt.  Today, got back to my 7am workout for an hour with my GoWear Fit showing 550 calories burned.  Just makes me feel better about the rest of the day...

Kick A with the trainer today, Mary!  ;)

Dizzy spells are vicious, aren't they? They never did diagnose mine completely, but attributed them to a deep inner ear infection. Eventually, they went away, but with about six months of lingering after effects: walking into walls and balance issues. Hope they figure yours out toot suite!

Today I'm going to the "smells of old socks" gym and going to get at least 15 minutes on the stair mill. That blasted machine gets the best of me everytime! But as long as I keep slowly increasing my endurance, it will get better I'm sure. Then I'll do a short 30 minute treadmill run and some upper body strength training, plus some stretching. I'm determined that it (and I) will feel good!
