I have a 3 year old and a 8 month old and i know im going to need help after surgery because my husband works 12 hours a day.  how much time is it going to take to get back on my feet trying to look for a babysitter

i think it varies depending upon what you are doing - i had to leave my dog with my cousin for 2 weeks while i recovered because i couldn't carry him downstairs to go outside - i wasn't allowed to lift anything over like, a gallon of milk i think?

call your doc's office and ask about the lifting is what i would suggest, since you have 2 kids and all

GOOD LUCK!

I have a 17 month old and a 11 year old son. I had my surgery Tuesday and my husband was home all week but went back to work today and I feel fine. My son is a HUGE help to me and carries his sister to bed for me and runs after her. Make sure you have your husband home if possible for at least a week or a babysitter. My husband too works 12 hour shifts so I know how you feel. I was sad to see him go back tonight.
