I second the lid thing. If I can't smell it, I always end up drinking more.

My go-to every morning -

1 Premier Protein RTD shake (from Costco) in chocolate or vanilla
Decaf coffee
Sugar free flavored syrup (my favorites are Torani Salted Caramel, English Toffee, Pumpkin Pie and Peppermint)

One shake is good for two coffees in the AM. It's tastes great and it's an easy way to get in 30g of protein in the AM!

For powders, I am a fan of Jay Robb Egg protein. They don't have the whey taste, and they have just 1g less protein than whey. It comes in chocolate and vanilla I believe. No sugars, flavored with stevia. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it too me.

Nik and Eggface have some great recipes for flavoring protein drinks. Just keep trying different things and you'll find something that works!

ISO 100 by Dymatize is Ah-MAZ-ing. If you use the shaker cups with the metal ball that mixes it, there are no clumps and it is smooth tasting. No yucky powder tasting crap like most "designer" whey proteins. I like the Berry flavor. It tastes like Nestle Strawberry Quick to me. And, it is great with milk or ice cold water. My nephew says he loves the chocolate with water. I have not tried that yet, though.

Nutritionists have told me that this brand is a high quality protein, too.
