So the past 2 days I have been cooking up a storm. I have to cook in bulk & measure out & freeze foods on my days off so it makes it easier when I am working. Yesterday I made a big crock pot of Homemade Vegetable Beef Soup, today making a big crock pot of Pinto's & made 18 mini meat loaf's. If I don't have things prepared & ready to go I will not get all my protein in. It's alot of work, but it is worth it.

It really does make it alot easier. At Wal-mart they have these disposable plastic containers 4oz, which I reuse over & over. I don't eat 4 oz, usually 2-2.5 depending on what it is. The containers are microwavable & dishwasher safe. (if you don't use the heated dry option) I love them, I have to buy another set, I believe there are 16 in a set & I've bought 2 sets already. Thinking about making up some deviled eggs too, good little snack.

I have got to start doing this.  I'm wasting so much food since I barely eat anything and my hubby is trying hard to watch what he is eating as well.  We try hard not to be wasteful but when you are dieting it's hard to eat it all before it spoils.  I'm dying to get a FoodSaver!

I've been doing the same thing. I'll cook something and put it in little container for the week. Save time, money and this way I make sure I don't grab something unhealthy if I'm in a hurry.

About 30 mins in total. I used 93% lean ground beef.
