I am almost three weeks post-op and at my post-op visit, the doctor told me I could now have pureed to include eggs and cheese.  Well, the eggs and cheese didn't go over too well.  I am able to tolerate yogurt, oatmeal and cottage cheese.  Do you have any other suggestions on what I can eat.  I do eat soup and my protein shakes but just wanted some ideas so I can add some variety.  Thanks for all your support and suggestions.  I truly love this board.  It is such a great help.

Here's a list

Low calorie yogurt (no chunks of fruit)

Strained cream soups or blended chunky soups

Low fat cottage cheese or ricotta (mash with a fork)

Scrambled eggs or Egg Beaters (mash with a fork)

Mashed tofu

Pureed lean beef, chicken, pork, turkey or fish

Mashed beans such as black beans, pinto beans or fat-free re fried beans

Hot cereasl

Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, or winter squash

Plain applesauce

Mashed bananas

Pureed peaches, pears, apricots or other fruits

Pureed carrots, green beans, or other vegetables

I found I really liked chili made with ground lean turkey, beans, and then blended.  I ate a lot of chili!
